I do, I just love making jewelry! No, it hadn’t been a life long dream, a someday, backburner idea, something on my bucket list or even something I thought about—at all!
It just happened all of a sudden!
I spent decades looking for the perfect look to go with my performance attire. Anywhere I happened to be, I would have to do a quick graze by the jewelry counter…..
Normally, nothing exciting caught my eye.
Then, one day, I was in a big hurry as I was heading for the checkout at Kohl’s and I thought—lemme just do a quick run through the jewelry……. And there it was!!
Something kinda neutral, sparkly….definitely with a low key Diva vibe! Just what I was looking for.
Got home—went to put it on—and it snapped—broke—beads everywhere!
So from that pile of beads to The Corcoran School of Art and Design began my odyssey into Metalsmith Jewelry Design.
